IT System Administrator / IT System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reliable, optimized IT solutions to customers that suit their business requirements and budgets
  • Ensure highest customer satisfaction with their IT systems being well-managed, available and stable with minimum downtime
  • Design and successfully implement attractive IT concepts that are beneficial to customers’ business and improve their satisfaction with IT significantly
  • Build and maintain the company’s reputation as a flexible, reliable and competent solution provider
  • Ensure Update of network applications as required, maintain daily tape backup and off-site tape storage
  • Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software
  • Increase efficiencies, technical ability and interpersonal skills of support staff
  • Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking
  • Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software
  • Manage special projects as requested

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Computer hardware and software systems and programs
  • Computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Computer / Server / network troubleshooting
  • Antiviruses and security Software application
  • Very good skills with Microsoft Windows Server 2003/ 2008 / 2012
  • Very good skills with Microsoft:
    • MS Exchange Server 2003 / 2007/ 2010 / 2013
    • MS Terminal Server
    • MS SQL Server 2008 / 20012
    • MS Active Directory
  • At least one of Microsoft Certifications MCSA / MCSE
  • Very Good skills VMWare esxi 5.x
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, another foreign language will be an advantage (German, French)

Advantage knowledge with:

  • MS SharePoint Services or Server
  • CRM Applications
  • Any Firewall system as Watchguard & Linux
  • VOIP System as Asterisk /Trixbox
  • Citrix Xen Server / Client

Qualifications:

  • Master degree in Computer Technology or related field. Certifications such as MCP, A+ preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years prior experience in Managing IT support services on a Senior level
  • The ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality, and total commitment to provide exceptional client service is required
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organizing, analytical, problem-solving skills
  • A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects
